Drawing review: Review tolerances, datum scheme, material, blank type, surface finish and functional features before process planning.
Process design: Select CNC turning, milling, 4-axis, slant-rail CNC or combined operations according to geometry and risk.
Fixture planning: Design soft claws, supports or dedicated fixtures when repeatability, deformation or coaxiality requires it.
Inspection evidence: Prepare CMM checks, gauge checks or 100% key dimension inspection when required by the application.
